Where can I find my Merchant ID?
You can locate your merchant ID by going to Settings -> Payment, and then clicking on Select Payment Methods. Here, you will find your Merchant ID located under your Shift4 Payment Method.

How do I get my 1099k form?
Our Account Maintenance tool offers the ability to locate this.

When will I receive my funding?
You will receive your funds/deposit into your bank account within 24 business hours.

How do I add/change my bank account?
You can use our Account Maintenance tool to do this directly within your Store Manager.

How do I find my statement?
You will receive a monthly financial e-statement sent from Shift4 to the email address used when signing up for your Shift4Shop account. You can also access your statements at any point by using the built in Shift4 Payments Reports within your Store Manager.

What happens in the event of a chargeback?
If you have chargeback you’ll receive an email from [email protected], with a Subject Link that reads "Dispute Notification."

Open the link in the email and upload the required documentation to dispute the chargeback.

What card brands does Shift4 Payments accept?
We support the following:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • Diner's Club
  • JCB

I just finished registration for my webstore, and it is up and running. Why are transactions failing?
Newly registered merchants may experience a short delay while some system settings are finishing the process of being configured in the background. Typically, this delay will only last a few minutes, but in some cases could take up to an hour before you will be able to accept transactions through your e-commerce website in some circumstances.
