Why do I get automated email notifications from [email protected]?

 

Shift4Shop has several features which are intended to run on a scheduled basis.  In many cases, these features are set to run automatically and you may activate one of these features and suddenly begin to notice an increase of emails from [email protected].  The emails themselves detail specific about the automation process and can help alert you as to whther there's any sort of interruptions with the activated feature.  Otherwise you may not be aware of any interruptuptions in the automated process.

As mentioned, these emails are triggered by some of the various automated features of Shift4Shop.  These include but are not limited to features such as the following:

  • Doba inventory syncronizations
  • Checkout by Amazon order calls
  • Scheduled CSV exports
  • Automatic Not completed Order scripts
  • Automatic Product Review Scripts
  • and many more.

Again these emails can be very useful from a troubleshooting point of view.  However if they become too frequent, we often suggest creating a filter in your email program which would move them to a separate folder to get them out of the way.  Regardless of the feature creating the automated email notice, the address it is sent from will always be [email protected].  Therefore setting up a filter should be fairly straightforward.  Your specific email client provider should have instructions on how to do this.
