How do I connect my store to ShipWire?


Shipwire is a powerful order fulfillment product which offers high quality order fulfillment, storage, pick, pack, and shipping services suitable for any size ecommerce business. Through Shift4Shops integration with Shipwire, your Shift4Shop store orders will automatically post to your Shipwire account and be designated for delivery using their services. Furthermore, your Shipwire account will actively communicate with your Shift4Shop store to update and routinely maintain your product inventory levels.


To properly integrate your store with Shipwire, you will need the following a Shipwire account. If you do not yet have an account with Shipwire, you may begin this portion of the process by clicking here

Preliminary set up:

In order to successfully match your Shift4Shop products to your physical products at Shipwire, your products must share the same SKU information on both sides. In other words, if your SKU on Shift4Shop for a product is itm-10002, it needs to have this very same SKU on your Shipwire profile.

To meet Shipwire requirements; SKU names can consist of letters, numbers and/or dashes, but no spaces.


To set up your Shipwire integration, please follow these steps.

Log into your Shift4Shop Online Store Manager and, using the left hand navigation menu:

  1. Go to Modules
  2. Search for the "ShipWire" module and click on its + icon to expand the selection.
  3. Next, click on the "Settings" link.
  4. Place a check mark in the Enable checkbox
  5. Enter your Shipwire login credentials
  6. Configure whether you'd like to have shipping rates calculated by Shipwire or your Shift4Shop store.*
  7. Click the "Save" button at the top right

Additional Information
*The checkbox labeled "Use Shift4Shop to calculate shipping rates (ignore Shipwire rates) was recently added to allow merchants the option of having the shipping rates calculated by the Shift4Shop store's configured shipping methods instead of Shipwire.

-With the checkbox enabled (marked), your store's configured shipping methods
(Settings >Shipping | Shipping Methods) will be used to return calculated shipping charges.
-With the checkbox disabled (unmarked), Shipping charges for orders will instead be calculated
directly from ShipWire. and your Shift4Shop store's shipping methods will be disabled completely.
