Kount 360 Migration

 

In order to use Kount without any interruptions, you will need to upgrade to Kount 360. The following article goes over the steps you need to take to do so. This article is aimed at merchants who have specifically received contact from Shift4Shop regarding this.

Register and Log Into Kount 360

First, check your email for an invitation from Kount. Within this email will contain a link to register your account. Click on this link and then log into Kount 360

Generate Your API Key

Once you are logged in, you will then need to create an API Key through Kount. For information on how to do this, please see the following article from Kount's Support.

Important
If you would like to test this feature on a Sandbox version of your store before going live, you can contact our Support team to request for this. Simply contact our team at 800-828-6650 or via a Support Ticket and request this so we can bettter assist you.

Connecting your Kount 360 account to your Shift4Shop Store

Once you have generated your API Key you can connect your Kount 360 account to your Shift4Shop store (you may test on your Sandbox store first). To do so:

  • Log into your Online Store Manager
  • Click on Modules
  • Locate the Kount module, click on Settings
  • On the following screen, click on Use Kount 360 checkbox
  • Then, enter in your API Key (provided by Kount) into the API Key field

Note
Please note that the Test Mode checkbox will still use the Production Account when testing. All tests will still be processed by your Kount production account which will count towards your billing quota under your Kount plan. Because of this, you may want to avoid enabling this entirely.
