How do I Specify Product Classes for Worldwide Express?

 

If you're using the Worldwide Express Freight App, you will sometimes need to set up different freight classes for individual products rather than one global class for all of your products.

To do this, simply add the freight class into the product's Extra Field 1.

  1. Log into your Shift4Shop Online Store Manager
  2. Using the left hand navigation menu, go to Products >Product list
  3. Locate the product you'd like to edit and click on its thumbnail image or name to open the product up.
  4. Within the product's Information tab, scroll down until you get to the "Custom Fields" section (just after Keywords)

If the Custom Fields section is in a collapsed view, click on the + icon next to it to expand the view.

  1. Locate Field 1 and enter the product's freight class into the field and click "Save" at the top right.

Repeat these steps for each product that requires its own freight class separate from your other products.
