How do I change my Invoice Logo?

Your store has two areas where your company's logo may appear.

The first section is the store logo which is applied to the whole site by going to Settings >General >Store Settings and specifying a path to the logo in the "Store Logo" field.

This field contains a browse link that will take you to the store's image File Manager to locate and select your desired logo image.

However, there is also a second area in which your store's logo will appear. This is when orders are completed and an invoice is generated. This particular logo will appear on the store's checkout Step 4 "Thank you Page" as well as confirmation emails, invoices and packing slips when they are printed out.

This image is referred to as the store's "Invoice Logo" and it can be changed just as easily as the main store logo.

Changing your Invoice Logo

To set the store's Invoice Logo, please use the following steps.

  1. Log into your Shift4Shop Online Store Manager
  2. Go to Settings >General >Store Settings
  3. Under "Merchant Information" look for the section labeled "Invoice Logo."

Click the link labeled "Browse" which will take you to your store's "File Manager" where you can either select a logo image you've already uploaded, or otherwise upload a new image and select it as the Invoice Logo.

  1. Once you've selected your invoice logo, click "Save Changes

Tip
An advantage to having a secondary area for the Invoice Logo is for situations where merchants may have different logo styles for their store pages that might not necessarily work well for invoices.

For example, the regular store's logo may be optimized for a dark colored background whereas the same logo may appear incorrectly within the white background of an invoice. Image sizing and design/placement may be other considerations.

Fortunately, with a separate area in which to add your invoice logo, you have some creative freedom when it comes to designing your store's branding.
