Why doesn't my scheduled export via FTP work?
  • Issue:
    A Scheduled CSV export via FTP to a 3rd party FTP server is active in the store, but the file never arrives.
  • Likely Cause:
    The admin user that the scheduled export was assigned to no longer exists.

One of the available options to the Scheduled CSV Export function is the ability to have the exported file sent to a 3rd party FTP server.

As mentioned in the Scheduled CSV Export article, the scheduled export settings are specific to the user in which they were created. So, removing the user account that was originally used to set up the scheduled export will have adverse effects on the scheduled script that handles the export.

  • Solution:
    Recreate the Scheduled CSV Export to one of your store's existing admin user accounts.
