
How Can I Override Kount for Specific Customers? |

Shift4Shop now offers the ability to whitelist trusted customers from Kount’s Fraud Protection. This is available to all merchants making use of Shift4 Payments. To do so, log into your Shift4Shop Online Store Manager. Navigate to Customers -> Customer List. From here, you can locate the Customer account you wish to manage via the list or using the search bar. When viewing a Customer account, you will find a Customer Information section. Within here, you will find an Override Kount checkbox. By checking this off, it will whitelist this customer from Kount’s services. In the event Kount considers it a suspicious transaction, the order will automatically be moved to the status chosen for review instead of being declined. From there, you can choose to complete the order or not at your own discretion. IMPORTANT: For merchants using their own Kount accountIf you are using your own account with Kount via the module, you will need to take additional steps before you can utilize Kount 360 to whitelist customers from their Fraud Protection. To do so:
