How do I Upgrade to the New UPS Integration?


Shift4Shop has upgraded to the newest integration for UPS which provides more security and an easier connection process. While the legacy integration will continue to work at this time, all merchants are expected to upgrade by June 3rd, 2024 per UPS to continue to use their real-time shipping services without any disruptions.

This article is only for merchants who have previously connected with UPS using a UserID, Password, Account Number, and XML Access Key. If you have not yet integrated with UPS, please see our guide on it here.

To Upgrade to the New UPS Integration:

  1. Log into your Shift4Shop Online Store Manager
  2. Using the left hand navigation menu, go to Settings >Shipping
  3. Click on the "Enter Settings" button located under Shipping Settings
  4. Next to the UPS section, click on "Show Credentials"
  5. Click "Upgrade to UPS OAuth 2.0" at the bottom of the modal window.

  1. You will be redirected to the UPS website where you will now need to login using your UPS credentials. Agree to the terms and continue.

Once finished, you will be taken back to your Store Manager with a confirmation message. You will be complete at this time!

If the upgrade to OAuth 2.0 button is not displaying, then your store has already been upgraded to the newest integration and no further actions will need to be taken.
