Why Do My Amazon Pay Orders Have the Customer's Name Listed Twice? |
|
Some merchants have noticed that orders paid with Amazon pay sometimes show the customer's first name twice on the Billing Information section. This happens because Amazon does not require a last name to be entered into the customer's profile so not all users may have specified a last name. However, our order system DOES require last name. Therefore, when the payment comes in - and the last name is missing - our system simply replaces the missing last name with the first name. | |
