What Are The Default Product and Customer Export Sets?

Beginning with version 8.1, the product and customer CSV export functions will contain two pre-built export sets:

  • Default
This will create an export file with only the more important column headers in order to make it a smaller file. This can be useful for situations where you have a large amount of data to export and - rather than having the CSV contain ALL the data - the default option will export only those columns which are most needed.
  • All Fields
When selecting this radio button, the CSV file will generate with all of the available columns included. Keep in mind however that the generated file may be very large, depending on the size of your store's database.
